We got rid of our microwave last year after reviewing some of the research on the harm of microwaves. We are still alive! How much convenience do we really need? This is not hard ladies, and it is worth it for our family’s health. Let’s remember to be grateful that we are not cooking all day over a hot fire.

Have you heard of the Turbo Oven from Dr. Mercola? My MIL got one awhile ago and really likes it. After reading this and reminding myself that I need to get away from it, I think I’ll invest in one. Know anyone that has one and if they do or don’t like it?

No, I mainly re-heat things on the stove or in the oven. It still takes some fore-thought, but it’s usually not a big deal. If I can remember, I’m trying to put lunch in the oven in the morning and pre-set it to turn on and warm or bake things when needed so that I don’t have to remember at the last minute. Of course, it wouldn’t be good to do this with just any food.

I have other friends who have ditched their microwaves, too. I was just wondering, do you use a countertop toaster oven to heat small items?
